Learn more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and what Elder Jesse Bundy is teaching at www.lds.org

Everything is going great!  Not really what I expected at all, actually!  We immediately went straight to the classroom and started learning Thai.  I don't think I've learned so much of something in my whole life in such a small amount of time! By the second day, we had to teach investigators solely in Thai!  It was crazy!  By Saturday, we were teaching 35 minute lessons!  I get a lot of headaches by the end of the day, because we just learn so much!  I really can't hold a solid conversation yet, but I can sure teach you about the gospel of Jesus Christ. LOL.

I'm really surprised about how similar these missionaries' personalities are to the personalities of my friends back home.  I really am having a lot of fun here.  Sunday, we had devotionals basically all day, and we were able to watch,  "Meet the Mormons," which was really good.

I am actually just getting back from the temple.  We did a session this morning and it was a cool experience.   There are 6 Thai Missionaries in my district and a bunch of Thai Missionaries in my zone, but, they are about to leave for Thailand.   So, once they leave, us 6 Thai Missionaries will be the only missionaries going to southeast Asia in the whole MTC.

Elder Quinn is my companion.  He's pretty cool.  He knows a lot about the scriptures.   We also have an Elder from Australia in our district.  We have like the same personality and we make fun of each other's accents all the time.

I love and miss you guys! The Food is Great, but I've been slacking on my pushups.  I'll get into a routine this week.   Tell everyone to send Dear Elders on dearelder.com!  I get those throughout the week and they are a lot easier than reading the emails!

Now for pictures:

This first picture is my friend Elder Dickey (on the left taking a picture) and the Ausie (on the right posing). LOL

This is me and my companion, Elder Quinn.

This is my zone and all the THAI Missionaries at the MTC right now.   All but 6 of us are
leaving for Thailand in a couple weeks.

This is another of my zone and all
of the Thai bound missionaries.

This one is of my District and the 6 of us that will be left after the others depart for Thailand.
Thank you for everything!! I love you both, Mom and Dad!!  I'll try and be better next week!!!

LOVE YOU!!

WOW!  The day is finally here!  I'm not scared, I'm not worried.......I don't know exactly what I am.  I can't wait to get started, even though I will miss everyone.  I'm excited to learn the language,  I'm excited to serve the people in Thailand, I'm excited to spend the next two years testifying of Jesus Christ..........I'm a bit nervous only because it's all new........here I go!

This morning, we got up early and finished packing everything.  Then Mom, Dad and I were off to make one last stop at the store......there's always something you forget when you are planning to be gone for two years.

Mom just had to get one last picture of Dad and I in front of the beautiful blooming trees in front of my brother's house!

I had the privilege of having lunch at Cafe Rio with my big brother Isaac, and receiving some very valuable, last minute advice just before I had to report.  He Served his mission in Peru.

Mom and I had one last bit of business at the bank.  We were able to slide in, get it done quickly and still managed to get to the MTC on time!

I can't describe the feelings I had as we began to pull in behind the long line of cars dropping off all of us new Missionaries!!!  CRAZY, but in a GREAT way!

This is the entrance to the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah!
My heart was pounding as we pulled in!!

We pulled into the spot we were guided to and immediately, an Elder stepped over and
introduced himself.  He told me he was going to Brazil on his mission and that he would
be helping me with my bags and showing me around.

Oh Man!!!!  Then came the part I had been dreading!!  Saying my final goodbyes to my Mom and Dad........I have to admit.......it was ALOT tougher than I thought it was going to be..

O.K.......I will admit it.....I had to go back
for a second hug from my Mom!!

I can't wait to get my Missionary Name tag!!  I am officially,

ELDER JESSE BUNDY

Stay tuned......more to come!

Today I had the AMAZING experience of entering the House of the Lord in Kansas City, Missouri!  It was a humbling, faith strengthening, reassuring and inspiring event in my life.....I can't wait to go often and to as many temples as I can before I leave on my mission!

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true!  I know it!  I can't wait to leave on my mission and share my testimony of Jesus Christ, forever families and temple worship with the people of Thailand!

The Kansas City LDS Temple.  1 of 120 LDS temples worldwide!

I was blessed to share this day with several
members of my family.  My brother Jake,
his wife Megan, my sister Chelsy and my parents.

It was awesome!  The only thing that would have made it better would have been if all my brothers and sisters could have been there.  But, I'll catch you in Utah!
